LEADING East Lancashire shopping destination Boundary Outlet has chosen Red-Fern Media as its long-term digital partner.

The partnership will see Altham-based Red-Fern deliver a full digital transformation to align with Boundary Outlet's technology, brand and marketing goals.

The digital transformation included a full technology consultation and discovery phase helping the senior team at Boundary Outlet and the Red-Fern technology team to develop a detailed digital strategy to move forward.

The project is focused on developing a new customer relationship management system to manage over 1.4 million customer records, a website that would reposition the new Boundary Outlet brand, showcase promotions and the brands available, plus a mobile App for Apple and Android devices.

Red-Fern managing director Sean Redfearn said: “It’s an absolute pleasure to be the digital partner for one of the UK’s leading retail outlets. Over the 15 years Red-Fern has been established, this has been one of the most impressive technology stacks we’ve created.

“Aligning with businesses to achieve their technology and marketing goals is what we are passionate about, working alongside Boundary Outlet we are very excited to see what the future holds.”

Boundary Outlet's head of marketing Kirsten Jones said: “It’s been an exciting 12 months at Boundary, with the launch of the newly refitted store in Colne and the brand refresh from Boundary Mill to Boundary Outlet.

“With Redfern’s experience and support, we have created a new look website, App and CRM system enabling Boundary to move to the next level of our digital strategy.”

Established over 30 years ago, Boundary Outlet, formerly Boundary Mill Stores, is a group of leading UK shopping destinations attracting hundreds of thousands of customers every year.

Red-Fern has previously worked on projects for Bright Interactive, CyberCube, Morson Group and Botany Outlet Village – developing websites, bespoke systems, apps and delivering long-term technology and marketing strategies.
