A RADCLIFFE man has been given a 12-month community order for assaulting a woman.
Ryan David Whittle, 26, of Abbey Close, had pleaded guilty to assaulting Angela Jackson on March 8.
Whittle was told by Manchester and Salford magistrates that he must take part in 31 days of accredited rehabilitation activities, including attending a Building Better Relationships course run by the probation service, as well as take part in 10 days of other recommended work.
Magistrates also told Whittle that he must carry out 140 hours of community service, over the 12 months, and pay a £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
