FIREFIGHTERS were called to a Blackburn high school on Sunday.
Crews were called to St Bede's RC High School in Green Lane at around 6pm.
A fire service spokesman said: "White smoke had been seen coming from the school.
"When we arrived we discovered it was coming from the boiler.
"There wasn't a fire and no damaged was caused."
Eyewitnesses said they saw smoke coming from one of the school buildings at the weekend.
