HOWARTH Timber and Building Supplies has completed an extensive refurbishment of its Darwen branch, as part of a wider programme of investment across the UK.
Howarth, a Yorkshire-headquartered business which marks its 180th year this year, has operated its Darwen branch on Spring Vale Lane since 2007.
Offering products including plumbing and heating, flooring, bricks, cladding, Howarth customers can also book skip hire and drop off house, building and garden waste.
Graham Lockett, Darwen branch manager, said: “The new and improved layout of the enlarged store will streamline the buying process and offer customers a new extensive portfolio of products.”
Gavin Knowles, marketing manager at Howarth Timber and Building Supplies said: “We’ve been part of the Darwen community for more than 13 years and have supplied local traders with everything from traditional timber products to steel lintels, insulation and now bathrooms.”
Howarth recently undertook a brand refresh which refocused the company’s proposition to its customers. The process established a renewed focus on providing unrivalled product ranges, coupled with knowledgeable experts delivered at a local level.
