Nineties boyband heart-throb and one third of the current Take That line-up is set to play a live DJ set in East Lancashire this month.

Direct from his record-breaking sold out tour with the band, the one and only Howard Donald will appear live with his House Music DJ Set for an exclusive performance at Rawtenstall's St Mary’s Chambers.

Fans may know him for his cheeky grin and his lead vocals on Take That anthem, Never Forget, but for the last twenty years, knowledgeable clubbers worldwide have been subject to his trailblazing tech and electro house mixes.

As well as being instrumental in the reforming of the world's biggest boy-band, Howard founded the DJ band Sonic Headz along with his friends King Brain and Bart Van Der Zwaan, and he now commands huge audiences at underground clubs across continental Europe.

Event Booker and Promoter at St Mary's Chambers, Danny Solazzo, said: "The understandable preconceptions that surround a perennial chart topper-turned-DJ mean Howard has had to stand head and shoulders above the rest. And he has.

"There’s no other way to explain him earning sets at clubs like Judge Jules’ Judgment Sundays in Ibiza, or slots at underground clubs like Newcastle’s Digital, or Sheffield’s The Plug.

"And further afield he’s conducted parties from the booths of venues like Pacha in Munich, Beluga in Austria and Liquid in Switzerland, all of which play host to various superstars like Sasha, Sander van Doorn, Utah Saints and Marco V.

"It’s safe to say, then, that Howard is taken seriously, and rightly so.

"He’s a DJ with proven credentials and limitless energy and we are extremely excited to welcome him to the venue."

Howard will perform his live DJ set on Friday March 27.
