'Made in Manchester' music festival will return to Bolton this summer.

The outdoor event will feature tributes to big Boltonian and Mancunian names such as The Buzzcocks and Oasis.

The one day festival will help to raise funds for grassroots sport at Bolton Arena and Lagan's Foundation, a charity which offers home respite and support services across the UK for young children with complex needs, specialising in heart defects or feeding issues.

Local bands and DJs will also be playing at the festival, which promises to be 'bigger and better' than ever before.

Acts at this year's event include tributes to Oasis, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and the Liam Gallagher.

Among the local artists performing at the event are Our Fold, Narrow Margin, Devouts and Manifesto.

DJ Dave Sweetmore will be hosting the festival, playing a selection of Manchester tracks and indie songs.

Festival goers will be able to keep refreshed while enjoying the music with a selection of outdoor bars, a gin bar and a food village.

For those who want to take a break from the music, rides and activities for all ages are planned.

The event was shortlisted for 'Best Small Festival' at the UK festival awards 2019.

Last year was the first time that the festival was held and it was a huge success with hundreds of people turning out to enjoy the music and atmosphere.

Made in Manchester will take place at Bolton Arena on Saturday 27 June from 12.45pm until 10.30pm.

Tickets are on sale now at £22.50 for adults and £10 for children who are 16 and under, with kids under 5 going free.

VIP tickets are also available for £50.
