An 11-year-old boy has been caught by the police having driving lessons on a public car park.
Police in Blackpool said a member of the boy's family was so fed-up with him playing Grand Theft Auto on his Playstation all day, that they took him out to practice his driving skills in a real car.
Officers spotted the vehicle in a car park in the town on Sunday and have now reported the adult for traffic offences.
Posting on Twitter, a spokesperson for the police said: "The driver of this car was 11-years-old. Yes, eleven.
"A family member was fed up with the child playing Grand Theft Auto all day on the Playstation, so brought him out to practice driving on a car park in Blackpool.
"The adult has been reported for traffic offences."
