WEATHER conditions made it difficult for drivers on our roads last night.
Rossendale Police tweeted that conditions were 'particularly bad around parts of Rossendale with the recent snow fall'.
It added that 'Crown Point Road and Burnley Road East were quite bad with recent reports of collisions and vehicles been abandoned'.
The road was re-opened at midnight last night but officers from Burnley Police also posted on social media.
Further to this post Burnley Road junction of Crown Point Road and Burnley Road East is currently closed in all directions whilst we recover a vehicle following an RTC, further updates to follow.
