FORT Vale Engineering has received recognition in a scheme which rewards manufacturing in the north west.
The Nelson-based company has been highly commended in the Product Innovation Award category in The Manufacturing Institute's 2007 Business Awards.
Fort Vale makes valves and fittings for chemical containers and is due to move from its sites in Brunswick Street to a custom-built factory in Simonstone.
