CELEBRATE pancake day by sending the Lancashire Telegraph your pictures of yummy creations.

The day has arrived where families argue over the use of nutella or honey, and children set out to make their most colourful pancakes.

To celebrate, the Lancashire Telegraph want to create a gallery with all the weird and wonderful pancakes being made in East Lancashire.

Everyone has their own recipe, with Aldi releasing their own quirky favourites, including the Insta-perfect pink pancakes.

Pancake making has become so serious, scientists have made a calculator for making the perfect pancake down to every ounce and gram.

Research suggests that pancakes were enjoyed before our time, with Rebecca Rupp writing in National Geographic that: “Our prehistoric ancestors just may have eaten pancakes”.

For those who don't have time to many any, McDonald's have free delivery on their all day pancakes, but don't forget to send in a picture!

Send you own pictures to alima.nadeem@nqnw.co.uk with name and where you live
