AN ice warning has been issued for the entire of East Lancashire tomorrow.
The yellow weather warning, which was issued today, will be re-issued from midnight to 10am.
A Met Office spokesman said: "Icy stretches likely to bring some travel disruption overnight and into Wednesday morning.
"Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces will be expected.
"Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
"Later this week there will be a mix of rain and hail showers, with some snow over higher ground, is likely to leave surfaces wet overnight.
"Surface temperatures are then expected to fall below freezing with icy stretches forming in places."
Temperatures for tomorrow will not reach 5C, with the forecaster predicting the 'feels like' temperature being nearer 0c, due to north westerly winds.
The day will be mostly cloudy with rain predicted at around 7am, then later on between 7pm and 8pm.
