A VITAL cash injection will be used by an East Lancashire charity to buy 24 assistance packages for the homeless.
The Yorkshire Building Society donated £1,200 to Maundy Relief, based in Abbey Street, Accrington, which offers a range of services to those in financial difficulty.
The packages contain food, drink, a sleeping bag, hat, gloves, socks, a hot water bottle, a flask, and a small tent.
