A MAN changed his Snapchat profile picture to a photograph of an intimate female body part which he had taken while a woman was sleeping.

Blackburn magistrates heard the photograph was seen by the woman's family and friends before Jack Robinson removed it.

Robinson, 27, of Briercliffe Road, Burnley, pleaded guilty to disclosing a private photograph and criminal damage. He was remanded on bail until March 11 for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

Tracy Yates, prosecuting, said Robinson had damaged a door at the victim's home when she ordered him out and threatened to call the police.

As soon as he left he started messaging abuse to her and shortly after changed his Snapchat profile photo to one taken of her from behind while she was asleep.

"When she asked him to take it down he responded with laughing faces," said Mrs Yates.

"He did take it down a short time later but not before it had been available to view by her family and friends."

Richard Prew, defending, said it was a very short duration of time that the photograph was posted.

"He is very sorry for what he did," aid Mr Prew.
