A TEMPORARY speed restriction has been put in place along the A6 through Shap.
The two-week-long restriction, which started this Monday, will cover the stretch going from Station Road up to Church Street.
The restriction has been brought in while carriageway resurfacing works take place.
Vehicles will only be permitted to travel at a maximum speed of 10mph while the restriction is in place.
