MAGISTRATES have banned a man from the roads for 18 months after he was caught drink driving.
At Bolton Magistrates’ Court Abdel Ben Haj, aged 21, of Brandwood Street, Bolton, pleaded guilty to committing the offence.
The court heard how he was driving a Vauxhall Astra on Foundry Street, Bolton on January 22.
A test showed that he had 66 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of his breath when the legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
In addition to the driving ban he was fined £120 and ordered to pay £117 in costs and charges.
