A MAN is fighting for his life after being found with head injuries in Oswaldtwistle.
The man in his 60s was found at a flat in Worsley Court and taken to Royal Preston Hospital.
A 30-year-old man, from Accrington, has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and and is currently in custody.
The arrest comes as police investigate how the man came about his injuries.
A police spokesman said: “His condition is described as critical. Detectives are looking into how the man came to sustain his injuries.”
One resident said: “I saw all the police outside at 1.25pm. It is very concerning. We just don’t know what has happened.”
Witnesses said one man was arrested by police and taken away in handcuffs.
