A teenager last seen getting into a white car in the early hours of Thursday morning has been reported missing.

Police are growing increasingly concerned for 14-year-old Lola Fannon from Burnley, who was last seen around 1.45am on Thursday February 6 getting into a white car in the Turfmoor area of the town.

A spokesperson for the police said: "We’re appealing for help in finding 14-year-old Lola Fannon who went missing from Burnley in the early hours of yesterday morning.

"Concern is growing for Lola after she was last seen around 1.45am

"Lola, who is originally from Preston, is white, 5ft 7in tall, of slim build and with long dyed red hair with blonde in it, which is usually worn tied up in a bun."

Lola was wearing a burgundy bubble jacket, black leggings and grey trainers at the time of her disappearance.

PC Laura Hyland, of Lancashire Police, said: “We are very concerned about Lola’s welfare due to her age and the time since she was last seen.

"We would urge anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward immediately.”
