A MAN has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged in connection with a police pursuit in August.
The court was told 15 police officers were involved in the incident on the Fishmoor estate and four of them were injured when their cars were rammed.
A fifth officer had to jump out of the way to avoid being hit by a speeding car.
Liam Christopher Cumberland, 34, of Midland Street, Accrington was charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop when required by an officer in uniform, driving while disqualified and without insurance.
He was remanded in custody to appear before the crown court on March 2.
