A 26-year-old has been charged with possession with the intent to supply after a Kinder Egg filled with heroin and crack cocaine was found in his possession.
On Monday, Fayjul Haque was stopped by police on Casterton Avenue in Burnley, after officers became suspicious of his activity when they spotted him on Windermere Avenue earlier that day.
A spokesperson for the police said: "On Monday February 3, officers from the Neighbourhood and Targeted Crime Team detained a man on Casterton Avenue, Burnley, after seeing him involved in suspicious circumstances moments earlier on Windermere Avenue.
"The male was found in possession of a large quantity of cash and a mobile phone.
"He was then subject to a thorough search and a Kinder Egg containing Class A drugs namely crack cocaine and heroin was found hidden on his person."
Haque, of Fifth Avenue, Burnley, was further searched and then interviewed, and following drug analysis, was charged with possession with intent to supply.
He is set to appear before Blackburn Magistrates Court on Tuesday afternoon (today).
