A MAN was arrested after kicking off when door staff refused to allow him into an Accrington bar.
Scott Melia, 37, of Tanpits Road, Church, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in Warner Street. He was made subject to a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £85 costs and £21 victim surcharge.
The court heard a police officer saw Melia arguing with door staff at the Dodge Bar where he was being refused entry. He started abusing other members of the public who were being admitted and was arrested.
Jonathan Taylor, defending, said Melia accepted he was out of order.
"He spent some time in the cells as a result of his behaviour," said Mr Taylor.
