SEVERAL trains in East Lancashire have been affected after debris fell from the roof at Preston Station.
Rail operator Northern has announced that the 10.11am Colne to Preston service will start at Burnley Central, missing out Colne, Nelson and Brierfield.
Before now the 7.59am Preston to Colne service was curtailed at Burnley Central, also missing the same three stations, though a replacement road service was provided.
Meanwhile the 9.11am Colne to Preston service also started at Burnley Central and is due to miss Mill Hill, Cherry Tree, Pleasington, Bamber Bridge and Lostock Hall.
Another rail replacement service was ordered to cover this service.
A Northern spokesman said earlier that the service could be disrupted because of the damage to the roof structure.
But it was announced later that all lines had been reopened by 9.30am.
