POLICE have unearthed a '£250,000' cannabis farm in Blackburn.
Officers have been at the property in Sharples Street since this morning.
Eyewitnesses have reported seeing forensic officers at the scene throughout the day.
Police said that a large number of plants – up to 500 – have been seized.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
Police said they are working to identify and contact the owners of the property.
Officers have been dismantling the large-scale set up throughout the day.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
