A POLICE probe has been launched after a man's body was found inside a property.
Officers were called to the property St James Square, Bacup, at 2.20pm today following reports from paramedics that a man in his 60s had been found deceased.
Police said they are at the early part of their investigation but at this stage the man's death is being treated as unexplained.
A police spokesman said: "We were called by the ambulance service at shortly before 2.20pm today to report that a man in his 60s had been found deceased at an address on St James Square in Bacup.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained and our enquiries remain at an early stage."
