A CLINIC will be closed for at least four weeks after a leak was found in a roof.

Barnoldswick Clinic will be out of action after the leak was found.

East Lancashire Hospitals Trust announced it has been made aware of the leak and said it will affect the services that are provided there.

A trust spokesman said: "This is affecting the service that we provide at the clinic and have had to make an immediate decision to suspend services for a short period, while the repairs are undertaken.

"East Lancashire Hospitals treat podiatry patients at Barnoldswick Clinic and arrangements have been made to relocate forthcoming podiatry appointments to Colne Health Centre, in Craddock Road.

"As a priority, admin staff are contacting podiatry patients to rearrange appointments scheduled for this week.

"For podiatry patients with an appointment date of 13 January or later, which was scheduled for attendance at Barnoldswick, you will be contacted by the booking team to advise on the date, time and location of your appointment, in due course.

"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."
