A VAN was 'completely destroyed' in a fire on a Chester street on Sunday.
City firefighters were called to Willow Grove in Hoole at around 11.30am on January 5.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "On arrival the vehicle was well alight. A firefighter wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, which completely destroyed the van.
"The van was then damped down to make it safe. Firefighters were in attendance for around 45 minutes.
"The fire is believed to have been caused by an engine fault."
