ANOTHER swathe of holiday lodges are being proposed as Ribble Valley ramps up its credentials as a tourist destination.

Bosses at Ribble Valley View, off Old Langho Road, near Brockhall Village, are looking to add 29 additional units to their operation.

Last October the Lancashire Telegraph reported how plans for a multi-million pound holiday village were being progress at Pendle View Fisheries, off the A59 at Barrow.

The Langho timber log style lodges would be to the east of the existing holiday park, Ribble Valley planners have been told.

The park, whose owners originally just ran a dairy farm, currently has 31 lodges.
