A LEADING price comparison site enlisted the help of an East Lancashire video wall specialist when bosses wanted to develop their new design centre.

UVS in Burnley was commissioned to provide a giant LED display for Moneysupermarket Group's fledgling innovation hub in Manchester.

Product engineers will see the 800 by 2,400 pixel video wall when they arrive for work each day at the Spinningfields complex.

Using their Lucidity control software, Empire Way based UVS has been able to devise a display which successfully links two floors at the hub.

Steve Murphy, managing director, said: "The UVS Lucidity WBC70 is capable of managing this unusual resolution and it allows the display of the multiple data source types simultaneously.

"All sources are displayed, using the Lucidity control platform, in their native aspect ratio, meaning there are no stretched images.

"This involved close liaison with the Moneysupermarket Group web page development team to ensure the web content was also correctly displayed

"The result, as the images show, is a stunning, dynamic and vibrant display canvas that meets their immediate and future needs."

The software also the display to be easily reconfigured, for different scenarios, via an integrated touch screen controller, specially developed for the Lucidity line.

Data sources for display could include web content, PC inputs and video conferences, with the latter facility enabling it to be used for meetings, collaborations and presentations.
