A KITCHEN caught fire in a terraced house house this afternoon.
Firefighters were called to Goodshaw Avenue, Loveclough, at 1.10pm.
A fire service spokesman said: "The fire involved the first floor kitchen of a mid-terraced property.
"Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel, a thermal imaging camera, a triple extension ladder and a positive ventilation fan to extinguish the fire.
"Firefighters were at the scene for just over two hours."
No one suffered any serious injuries.
