PUNTERS had their Christmas drinks interrupted as they had to evacuate a pub in Chorley this afternoon.
Customers at The Imperial had to leave the pub after a florescent light burnt out.
The alarm sounded and triggered four fire engines to mobilise – but only one turned out when the severity of the situation became clear.
Crews from Chorley fire station who attended said that the situation was soon under control.
People were able to return to the pub after around 10 minutes.
