A LOG store caught fire in a village near Chester.
Two fire crews, from the city and Tarporley, attended the scene on Nantwich Road, Tiverton, at around 7.25pm on Monday (December 16).
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The fire had spread to a garage and was extinguished using one hose reel and two breathing apparatus
"Crews then used a thermal imaging camera to check the roof for further fire spread and removed tiles from the wood store.
"They then continued to damp down the affected area and turn over the wood to ensure it did not reignite while the temperature was monitored using a thermal imaging camera.
"Firefighters were in attendance for approximately one hour and 50 minutes."
