Preston Road near Ribchester
A PERSON is being rescued from a vehicle after a crash near Ribchester.
Police, the fire service and an ambulance were called to Preston Road near the village at 8.20am.
A police spokesman said the fire service are trying to rescue someone from inside the vehicle.
The spokesman said: "There are traffic issues as a result of the crash.
"All motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible."
