A NOTARY public service has been launched by a East Lancashire law firm - supported by two new appointments.
Forbes in Blackburn has unveiled the enhancement for its wills, trusts and probate team.
Solicitor Megan Diamond will oversee the notary service, which involves the anything from authenticating and witnessing the signing of legal documents to a wide range of overseas matters.
She will be backed by associate solicitor Elizabeth Walker, who has been drafted in.
Jane Burbidge, a Forbes partner, said: "As a member of Solicitors for the Elderly and STEP, Elizabeth has a wealth of expertise and experience to bring to the role and we are delighted to welcome her to the team. Megan also brings with her a wealth of experience."
