Regal Foods have made doantions towards a Hospice, a hospital charity and a Homeless charity.

Directors Waqar Younis and Faz Ali kindly donated a large quantity of biscuits along with a cash donation of £250 to ELHT&Me, the official charity for East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust.

The donation was received by Christine Hughes the Trust’s Executive Director of Communications and Engagement. 

She said: “I am always overwhelmed by the generosity of people in the run up to the Christmas period. The delicious biscuits will be sent to our Emergency Department to treat our staff throughout this extremely busy period. 

“The cash will be used to help fund toys for our paediatric department, which will improve the hospital experience for our younger patients. 

Making the donation on behalf of Regal Foods, Hussein Kajee said: “The East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is an organisation that is very close to my heart. I am delighted to be able to play a part in spreading a little happiness in this festive period.”

Biscuits were donated towards the East Lancashire Hospice - just in time for patients Christmas party. 

Lucinda Bury from the East Lancashire Hospice said, “I'd like to say a huge thank you to Hussein Kajee, and to Waqar Younis and Faz Ali from Regal Foods PLC for generously donating several boxes of biscuits to the hospice from their bakery in Bradford and for delivering them all the way to Blackburn. "
