People in East Lancs are being urged to limber up next weekend as an ice skating rink is coming to a town as part of a special Christmas weekend.
Organisers of Accrington's Big Christmas Weekend are erecting the ice skating rink on the town square from Friday December 13 until Sunday December 15.
And on Saturday 14, the Dickensian evening market returns along with lots of festive fun, food and drink for all the family.
There'll also be a funfair on Broadway across the weekend, with attractions including free face painting and free seasonal craft workshops, a fire dancing fairy, chocolate berry ballerinas, brass band music and a giant reindeer.
The funfair starts at 12pm on Friday until 8pm, with events beginning at 10am on Saturday and running until 8pm.
On Sunday, the ice rink and funfair will run from 10am until 4pm.
