THREE people were treated for smoke inhalation and another for burns after a house fire in Bacup.
The incident took place at 7.40pm on Newchurch Road in Stacksteads.
A Lancashire Fire Service spokesman said: "Two fire engines from Bacup and Rawtenstall attended a fire in a domestic property on Newchurch Road in Stacksteads, Bacup.
"Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.
"Three casualties were treated for smoke inhalation and a fourth for burns."
