A weekend-long Christmas festival is taking place which will see a live jazz band and choir performing Christmas songs.
All Saints' Church in Clayton-le-Moors is hosting The Spirit of Christmas festival from Friday December 13 until Sunday December 15, welcoming the whole community to gather for some festive fun.
From 2pm on the Friday, there will be a 'Windows of Christmas' display, where local organisations and businesses have decorated a themed window.
Christmas produce will be available to buy from the many stalls on offer, and a Christmas themed café will be selling all sorts of Christmas refreshments.
At 7pm on Friday, St Christopher’s Jazz Band and Choir will also be performing.
Reverend Toby Webber said: "We are really looking forward to hosting another Christmas Festival.
"It's great to bring the community together in the approach to Christmas.
"I’m sure that the concert will be uplifting, joyful and meaningful."
Tickets are £5 each or a family ticket for £15 available in advance by contacting Sarah on 01254 232354 or Julia on 07757110867.
The festival is open for the whole weekend, concluding on Sunday 15 with a carol service at 6.30pm.
