One lane of M6 closed after traffic incident
One lane of the M6 southbound was closedfor a period this afternoon from Junction 36 at Crooklands to Junction 35 at Carnforth due to an incident involving a vehicle that left the carriageway.
Traffic was said to have coped well.

Lane one was closed and the hard shoulder was also closed off. But the incident has now been cleared and the lane re-opened at around 4.40pm.
