Water tap
BUSINESSES in Accrington town centre have been without water due to a leak.
United Utilities have discovered a leak in Abbey Street at 10am.
A United Utilities spokesman said: “We're currently investigating an issue in the area which may mean you have no water or it's coming out your tap as a trickle.
"We’ve located a leak on Abbey Street in Accrington which is affecting water supplies to customers in the BB5 1EE postcode area.
“Our engineers are on their way to the site to carry out repairs and get things back to normal as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
