Commuters face 'long delays' after motorway accident
COMMUTERS are facing long delays on the M66 due to an earlier accident.
Police closed off lane three on the M66 southbound at junction three Pilsworth Road, Hollins, with tailbacks to A56 Haslingden Bypass.
All lanes have since been reopened and the car has been removed but motorist are facing delays of around 30 minutes.
Motorists are also facing queuing traffic on the on A575 Walkden Road Southbound from Walkden to M60 J13 / A572 Leigh Road.
Travel time is six minutes.
