A helicopter and a drone were used to help police catch three suspects in connection with a series of burglaries.
On Monday, officers in Rossendale arrested three men after receiving reports from residents who had seen a vehicle being driven suspiciously in Edenfield.
The police spotted the car, which was stolen, and the people inside abandoned the vehicle and an extensive search was conducted using the police helicopter.
Two men were then found by officers and arrested, and the stolen vehicle recovered.
A spokesperson for the police said: "Later on in the evening another stolen vehicle was seen in Edenfield on Market Street.
"Again the vehicle was abandoned and the occupants made off on foot.
"With the use of our drone, Tac Ops officers and Rossendale policing team, a man was located and was arrested, and the vehicle was recovered."
