Two men arrested on suspicion of stealing items from Colne charity clothes bank
TWO men were arrested on suspicion of theft from a charity clothes bank in Colne..
The arrest came after members of the public spotted two people who appeared to be 'opening and taking items out of charity clothes banks'.
A police spokesman said: "They were followed and stopped by police where their van was found to be chock-full of bags of clothing along with some jewellery.
"Both males were arrested on suspicion of theft by finding from the charity clothes banks and are awaiting interviews."
