A leak which left several people with little or no water this morning has been fixed.
A burst water main on Derby Street was reported to United Utilities at around 6.45am.
Engineers were sent to the scene in the morning and the issue has now been fixed.
A United Utilities spokesman said: "Water should now be flowing again in BB8 postcode in Colne.
"Our engineers have fixed the leak on Derby Street.
"We're sorry if this has affected you and thank you for your patience.
"If you have discoloured water please visit our website for more information."
