LAST night saw the return of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here to ITV screens.

The celebrities including soccer star Ian Wright were flown into their jungle camp after completing an introductory series of tasks.

But back in 2014 it was another sports star who made a massive impact on the show – Blackburn motorcycling legend Carl Fogarty.

The superbike champ chomped his way to victory after biting down on horror foods, including ostrich anus, baked tarantula, and camel penis at the weekend.

The then 49-year-old four-times world champion paid tribute to his fans after emerging victorious from the Australian jungle to tearfully take his throne as the ITV show’s deserved winner.

He said: “It means the absolute world to me. I’m so emotional that I’ve had so much support.”
