TALENTED young people from Bolton Lads and Girls Club are set to perform alongside world-renowned artists at one of London's most prestigious venues.

The club's dance group, D.I.C.E, will take to the stage on Sunday in front of thousands of fellow youngsters who attend similar clubs around the country.

D.I.C.E dance crew members will be showing off their skills at the first annual OnSide Youth Zones Awards — where young people's achievements will be recognised and awards presented to those who have made a difference in their community, displayed a breakthrough talent, or overcome challenging circumstances.

The young people shortlisted for the awards have been nominated and voted for by members from the OnSide network, and their stories will be told throughout the evening.

The all-star show will also include performances from award-winning artists John Newman and chart-topping band The Script, and will be hosted by BBC Radio 1 presenter, Dev Griffin, and Capital breakfast show host, Vick Hope.

More than 100 members of Bolton Lads and Girls Club who are heading to London for the show will also be treated to an appearance from the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, who will be helping dish out the awards.

Karen Edwards OBE Chief Executive at BLGC said: “This is an amazing opportunity!

"We are thrilled to be able to take over 100 of our members down to London to the event.

“We are proud of all of our nominees, and we wish them the best of luck in the awards ceremony, whatever the results they are winners already.”

OnSide Youth Zones is a national charity of 13 centres for young people.

The clubs were modelled on the success of Bolton Lads and Girls Club's years of work, support and activities with the youth of the borough.
