A CORPORATE and commercial finance broker in Bolton has marked its 10th anniversary by taking on a new business manager.
Ian and Kelly Moore launched Independent Business Finance in 2009, at the height of the recession. But their wealth of experience with high street banks and analytics paid off.
Ian said: "Banks were not lending, yet finance was available, and we wanted to help local companies access these funds. With our vision, determination and dedication we felt we had the ability to help businesses find the best financial solutions available to suit their business needs."
Recently the family-run firm has recruited an experienced business manager, Gavin Elmes, who was with the Royal Bank of Scotland for 17 years in commercial banking.
He will be responsible for assessing clients’ needs and obtaining finance on their behalf on a completely independent basis.
"Gavin is a huge asset to our team as he brings with him a total of 31 years financial knowledge and skills he gained at RBS," added Mr Moore.
Mr Elmes said: "I'm delighted to have joined the firm and I'm looking forward to adding value to our clients' aspirations and an exciting year of growth."
