A GROUP of primary schoolchildren’s remembrance artwork has been displayed at a florists in Oswaldtwistle.
Pupils from St Andrew’s Primary School brought their fantastic artwork to Garlands Florist in Union Road to be displayed.
Both shop windows have been filled with a variety of Remembrance Day works, including wreathes, giant poppies and Union flags.
Rachel McClure, from the florists, said: “The works are fantastic and the children spent a great deal of time working on them.
“They also learned a lot about the different services and why we recognise Armistice Day.
“The school does a lot with the children surrounding Remembrance Sunday.
“We have been putting their works on display for two years and we are really proud to take part.”
