BONFIRE Night is here and many families will be out celebrating this evening.

Several events took place over the weekend but some have saved the fun for the big night.

The Mill Hill pub in Blackburn is hosting its annual bonfire and fireworks display tonight.

The bonfire is set to start at 6.30pm followed by fireworks.

Food will be available to purchase at the venue, including hot dogs and burgers.

Over in Towneley Park, Burnley, a bonfire and firework display will be hosted by Burnley Council tonight.

There will be various activities to get involved in before the bonfire is lit at 6.45pm. There will be a funfair from 6pm, followed by the bonfire.

This year, there is a junior firework display which starts at 7.15pm and a ‘mega’ firework display at 8.15 for the adults.

The price for the event is £3 for a single standard ticket and £9 for four tickets. Tickets can be bought from St Peter’s and Padiham leisure centres, Mechanics Theatre, Prairie Sports Village, Towneley Golf Shop and Townley hall.

Parking is £5 per vehicle on site.
