POLICE are asking for the public's help to find the owners of a dog they found in Burnley.
Officers posted on the Burnley and Padiham Police Facebook page.
A spokesman said: "We are currently with a dog on Tedder Avenue in Burnley.
"We appreciate this is not the best photograph as the dog would not sit still, and appears frightened of the fireworks.
"The dog is a light brown coloured terrier style dog with no collar.
"The dog looks to be elderly and have poor sight.
"If anyone is missing a dog or is aware of anyone in the local area who owns a dog matching this description then please call 101 and quote log 1111 of 2nd November 2019."
