The crash took place on the M65 westbound carriageway
A LANE of the motorway has been closed due to a fire.
Police are at the scene on the M65 near Blackburn with Darwen Services where a lane has been closed due to a fire.
Traffic officers are remaining on site while the situation is being dealt with.
Highways England tweeted: "#M65 from #J4 / Blackburn with Darwen Services (#BlackburnSouth) towards #J3 (#RileyGreen) currently has 1 lane closed due to a fire. Traffic Officers @LancsRoadPolice & @LancashireFRS are on scene."
