AN enterprising cafe owner on the historic Lancashire-Yorkshire border is bridging the divide with businesses.
Nick Franchini, who runs Kava, in Todmorden, already has his first booking as a corporate venue on November 5.
And now he is looking to make Tuesdays in Tod the go-to place for away days for firms from Blackburn and Burnley to Manchester and Leeds.
He is banking on attractions like the Rochdale Canal, historic market hall and Incredible Edible to tempt urbanites to the Calder Valley.
Nick said as well as a wide-ranging menu they cater for vegetarians, vegans and gluten-free diets. The cafe used to be owned by original Smiths guitarist Dale Hibbert.
